Β WEDDINGTON, NC — A man working at a neighborhood under construction in Weddington died when a tree fell on him. Β The accident happened as crews were working to clear a lot in the Devonridge subdivision. Β Coworkers say the man was clearing brush with a saw when the tree hit him. Β The Union County Sheriff’s Department and OSHA are investigating.
