The field includes Jordan Spieth (speeth), the 20-year old who wowed golf fans at last week’s Masters. In the very early going, Jeff Maggert and Rory Sabbatini share the lead at 3-under after 10 holes.
KAPOLEI, Hawaii (AP) — The second round of the LPGA’s Lotte (LOH’-tay) Championship in Hawaii is being played today. The lead after 18 holes was shared by three players, So Yeon Ryu, Se Ri Pak (say ree PAHK) and Hyo Joo Kim. They all finished play at 4-under-68, with two Americans, Michelle Wie (wee) and Amy Anderson, tied a 2-under.
NEW YORK (AP) — Former Tennessee running back Chris Johnson has a new team. He has been signed by the New York Jets, nine days after he was released by the Titans. Johnson is one of just six players to rush for 1,000 yards in each of his first six seasons, including 2006 yards in 2009.
