Β CLEVELAND COUNTY, NC — A former Cleveland County teacher facing charges heads to court next month. Β Wednesday, we obtained a copy of the letter the school sent home to parents. Β It does not mention the charges against Caron Blanton, but does say since she resigned, a “highly qualified teacher has been hired to fill her position for the remainder of the school year.”
WCCB Charlotte was there as Blanton bonded out of jail last night. Β She’s accused of sending inappropriate pictures and videos to at least two students. Β The school district suspended her last Wednesday. Β She resigned on Friday.
