CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A CMS media briefing was held Wednesday at 10am at the Renaissance West Senior Center (formerly Boulevard Homes Community) to discuss the new partnership school and memorandum of agreement. The new preK-8 school plans to open in 2017 and will serve as the centerpiece of the broader $75 million community revitalization efforts on West Boulevard.
The briefing was held by Superintendent Heath Morrison and Laura Clark of Renaissance West Community Initiative. Morrison is continuing to push for teacher pay raises.
