Β It’s been nearly a month, but it isn’t over yet. Β In fact, the FBI investigation into ex-Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannon is only expanding. Β The county has been subpoenaed in the corruption case. Β Cannon’s own lawyers don’t even know how big the case is, since the feds are still following up on leads they’ve been getting since the affidavit came down last month. Β
So is it time to give up and take a plea deal? Β Or should Cannon fight this thing all the way to the courtroom?
