Β CHARLOTTE, N.C. —Β Β As the weather improves, cleaning up and clearing out becomes top-of-mind for many Americans. Β It’s this time of year, with Earth Day recently passed, that families do spring cleaning, often finding electronics they no longer need. Β Many of us wonder what we”re supposed to do with the old electronic “junk” that’s become part of everyday life. Β With technology the fastest growing waste stream on the planet, people just don’t realize there is someone close by who will take their electronics and recycle them for free.
Β Β Β I spoke with Scott Weislow, Director of Recycling and Waste Management at Best Buy to find out the best ways to recycle electronic products.
