CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two black bears were spotted Tuesday morning on Forest Cross Drive in Northwest Charlotte.
Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department were called around 8:30 a.m. and searched the area for several hours, but did not spot them
A biologist from N.C. Wildlife has been called to talk further with residents about the bears, which were described as young and about four feet tall.
CMPD Animal Control officers say it is not uncommon to spot young bears this time of year.
