LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a 7-year-old child.Β Clay Rudisill, 51, has been charged with one felony count of first degree sexual offense.Β
The victim’s family said they were trying to help Rudisill out by providing him a place to stay.Β However, he is accused of sexually abusing a girl who also lived in the home.Β
Police say Rudisill confessed to the crime.Β He was given a $75,000 bond.Β
