Tonight, we’re talking about the woman who opened a Pandora’s Box for Clippers’ owner Donald Sterling: V. Stiviano. Not that he doesn’t deserve it.
But she recorded a private conversation that wasn’t supposed to be made public. And despite the despicable content, if it hadn’t been released, none of this chaos would be happening. So was it right to release it?
Actually, there aren’t any straight answers about how the recording was released. Some say she is directly responsible for putting it out there, but she says she’s not. Her lawyer says a third person who was present, but isn’t on the tape, may have done it for money. But without that person coming forward, you’re left with V. Stiviano and Don Sterling. And you know he didn’t leak it.
Which means there are two ways to look at it: either she’s a hero for exposing racism, or she’s a villain for letting the recording of a private conversation go public. And the public sounds off about that very question to our Man on the Edge, Robert Wilder…
