Β The NBA commissioner banned Sterling for life and fined him $2.5 million Tuesday for making racial comments. Β An NBA owner’s committee will meet tomorrow to outline the next step.
Golf legend Phil Mickelson weighed in on the scandal at the Wells Fargo Championship in South Charlotte Wednesday. Β “Yeah, it’s pretty consistent with the way everyone feels,” he said. Β “I think it’s pretty cool what the commissioner has done and how he’s handled it.”
