CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a student was hit by a car on Idlewild Road while they were waiting for a school bus. The accident happened around 7:30am Friday morning.
The 2nd grade student from Piney Grove Elementary School was transported to a local hospital but he is expected to be okay. No charges have been filed at this time. Check back for updates.
