GASTONIA, N.C. — One family was displaced after an apartment fire in Gastonia. Fire officials say they responded to an apartment complex on Jondon Lane early Monday morning.
It took approximately 10 minutes for firefighters to get the fire under control. Officials say a malfunction in the dryer caused the fire.
The fire caused approximately $25,000 in damages. The family was not home at the time. No injuries were reported.
