CHARLOTTE, N.C. —Β School systems across the country are seeing a teacher diversity gap. Dean of UNC Charlotte’s College of Education, Dr. Ellen McIntyre, is talking about the impact local universities are seeing.
A recent study by the Center for American Progress and the National Education Association has brought the disparity to the forefront.
