Griffin Brothers Tires, Wheels & Auto Repair will host its 6th annual Chipโn for Children golf tournament benefiting the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte (BBBSGC) on Monday, May 12, 2014. The tournament will be held at Pine Island Country Club in Charlotte. Last yearโs event (Griffin Brothersโ largest to date) raised $83,000 in gross revenue, and over 100 golfers participated from various organizations and civic groups.ย

All proceeds from this yearโs tournament will stay within the communityย to help support BBBSGC and all related facilities. For over a century the visionย of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has been to bring caring role models intoย the lives of children in need. Serving as the nationโs largest donor and volunteerย supported network, their ultimate goal is to change kidsโ perspectives and giveย them the opportunity to reach their full potential. It costs $1,000 to match andย support one child with an adult mentor for one year. BBBSGC is 100 percentย community funded, so your support is critical to impacting the lives of childrenย they serve.
