Β ROCK HILL, SC — Rock Hill is celebrating the success of former South Point High School star Jadeveon Clowney. Β The South Carolina product was selected first overall by the Houston Texans in the NFL draft. Β Thursday night at South Point High, people jammed into the cafeteria to cheer on Clowney.
“I work here at South Point, and I know him very well,” said one attendant.Β “He went to school when I worked in the cafeteria, so I’m so happy for him. Β I know the family very well. Β I’m just proud of him. Β It’s just a special moment right now.”
