Β CHARLOTTE, NC — Panthers fans are excited for the newest addition to the offense. Β The last time Kelvin Benjamin took the field, he caught the winning touchdown for Florida State in the national title game. Β And now he calls the Carolinas home. Β
Friday, Benjamin got to see Bank of America Stadium, and even had dinner with Graham Gano and a few other players. Β So what kind of receiver is he? Β Well unlike former Panther Steve Smith and his 5′ 9″ stature, Benjamin says his strength is in his 6′ 5″ frame.
“I really think it’s my size,” he said. Β “Basically I can do the same thing a small receiver can do. Β I really try to work harder to be a top wide receiver, with a bigger body frame.”
