Β CHARLOTTE, NC — A man wanted for terrorizing a south Charlotte neighborhood is in jail Wednesday night. Β This is an update to a story first on WCCB News @ Ten Monday night.
Dajour Smith faces a number of charges, including multiple counts of breaking and entering. Β This is his seventh arrest in Mecklenburg County since February 2013. Β Smith is accused of breaking into houses in the Madison Park neighborhood on Monday. Β A CMPD crime map shows eight burglaries that day alone. Β
Investigators have not said if Smith is a suspect in several crimes reported in the neighborhood last Friday.
