Β Two very different stories are coming out of the Greg Hardy arrest case, but they could end the same way. Β So far, Hardy is part of a team that doesn’t have much tolerance for indiscretion. Β And this arrest is about as indiscreet as you can get.
Right now it’s not much more than allegations: a lot of “he said, she said”. Β “She”, Nicole Holder, says Greg Hardy attacked her in his apartment, throwing her onto a couch covered with guns, pulling her by the hair, choking her, and threatening to kill her. Β He says, that’s just not the way it happened, but that she attacked him, and wouldn’t leave the apartment.
Either way, Hardy spent the night in jail for a cooling off period. Β And even if he’s not convicted, analysts say the charges are serious enough to stick with him. Β Team owner Jerry Richardson does not like drama or troublemakers, and he’s proven it in the past, convictions or not. Β
