CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Sandra Hill, mother of Carolina Panthers’ running back DeAngelo Williams has passed away after years of battling breast cancer.Β
Hill passed away on Friday morning.Β
Williams has been a champion of breast cancer awareness. Back in 2009, he petitioned the NFL to allow players to wear pink cleats.
Her four sisters also died from breast cancer.Β
