MONROE, N.C. – Monroe Police are asking motorists to be patient as the Monroe Water Resources Department work to fix a water leak on U.S. 74 at Bivens Road.Β
The Monroe Water Resources Department will be working well into the night so that the eastbound lane will be passable. Traffic is still going eastbound, but is being diverted into the westbound lane.Β
Monroe Police are monitoring traffic, but are asking motorists to avoid the route until later tomorrow.Β
