SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – A selfie that California firefighter Tim Bergon took to let his family know he was OK has gone viral. The father of 3, Bergon and some of his fellow firefighters had taken a much needed break from fighting the wildfires in San Diego County when he took the selfie and posted it to Facebook. Within a matter of hours, the picture went viral.
The wildfires are being eased today by cooler temperatures and calmer winds. All fire evacution orders have been lifted from the wildfires. Currently 4 fires are still burning, including 3 at Camp Pendleton.
