Three People Injured In North Charlotte Shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people were injured in a shooting that happened Tuesday morning in north Charlotte.  

Police say they responded to the shooting on Durham Lane just after 11 a.m.  MEDIC transported one person to a local hospital.  

A short time later, two additional victims were located.  All three people are expected to survive.  No one has been arrested for this time.  

Charlotte-Mecklenburg School officials placed Ranson Middle School on lockdown for 15 minutes while police checked the area for suspects.  Check back for updates.
