Tonight, they look to get back on the winning track with a win in Game 2 of the best of seven series. Following tonight’s game in San Antonio, the series shifts to Oklahoma City.
CHICAGO (AP) β The Chicago Blackhawks can take a 2-0 lead over the visiting Los Angeles Kings with a win tonight in the NHL’s Eastern final. The ‘Hawks beat the Kings in the first game of the series three days ago 3-1. The series will shift to L.A. for Game 3 Saturday night.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) β Just a few years ago, the Sacramento Kings were close to moving to another market. Now they are looking forward to a new arena. In a late-night meeting last night, the Sacramento City Council approved construction of a $477 million dollar facility that will open for the 2016-17 season.
NEW YORK (AP) β The NBA Draft Lottery took place last night and for the second straight year and third time since 2011, the Cleveland Cavaliers were the winners. That means the Cavs, who were a long shot to win, will have the first pick in the upcoming draft.
