Β CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are looking into a reported home invasion in Dilworth. Β Two suspects are still on the loose as of Wednesday night. Β Neighbors tell WCCB Charlotte that the man who lives in the home is disabled. Β A cleaning woman was inside the house on Cumberland Avenue when the guys broke in. Β
Neighbors have been told the suspects may know the victim. Β “To me, it’s more comforting to know that perhaps there was some sort of relationship between the parties involved, rather than a random event,” said Dilworth resident Linda Mitchell. Β “And of course, it is upsetting regardless.”
CMPD has not released any information on the suspects in this case.
