SALISBURY, NC — Investigators say a Salisbury woman woke up to her boyfriend beating her with a skateboard. Β Police say the man later shot into the apartment while the woman and her two children were inside.
None of the bullets hit anyone. Β Police ended up tasing Bryan Ascencion after officers say he tried to drive away. Β The shooting happened Friday morning at the Clancy Hill apartments in Salisbury. Β When officers got there, police say Ascencion was walking around the complex with a 12-gauge shot gun.
