Β YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Dollar Tree Employees, Roxanne Abraham and Leigh Horne, locked themselves inside the store after one was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot.Β
Horne and Abraham were walking to their cars when they noticed two black males walking towards them. The women were in between two different cars when the men demanded Horne’s purse.
One of the men held a semi-automatic pistol at her stomach before she threw her purse to the ground. The girls then ran into the Dollar Tree and the men ran toward Stockbridge Drive, between two nearby businesses. Β
When the women returned to the store, they heard a gunshot. Spin marks in the gravel of a nearby church and a gun shell casing were found.
