Born and raised in Ohio, Griffin House opted to decline a golf scholarship to college in lieu of pursuing his musical gifts. His songwriting is spiked with doses of roots, rock, blues and country β all inspired by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Woody Guthrie, Wilco and Billy Bragg.
