CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say they arrested a man for sexually assaulting two women in south Charlotte.
Investigators say Andre Jones sexually assaulted a woman on May 15th on Emerywood Drive after she agreed to meet the suspect. One week later, he is accused of raping another woman on the same road at knife point.
Officers immediately connected the two cases and worked to identify Jones. He was arrested on May 23rd after he showed back up at the area the crimes took place.
He has been charged with first degree forcible rape, second degree forcible rape and carrying a concealed weapon.
