CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say they arrested a man for sexually assaulting two women in south Charlotte. Β
Investigators say Andre Jones sexually assaulted a woman on May 15th on Emerywood Drive after she agreed to meet the suspect. Β One week later, he is accused of raping another woman on the same road at knife point. Β
Officers immediately connected the two cases and worked to identify Jones. Β He was arrested on May 23rd after he showed back up at the area the crimes took place. Β
He has been charged with first degree forcible rape, second degree forcible rape and carrying a concealed weapon. Β
