PARIS (AP) β€” Defending champion and top seed Serena Williams has been eliminated from the French Open in the second round. She was beaten today by Garbine Muguruza (GAR’-been moo-guh-ROO’-zuh) of Spain, 6-2, 6-2. Her ouster came soon after her sister Venus lost as well.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) β€” The Miami Heat can advance to the NBA Finals again if they beat the Pacers in Indianapolis tonight. The Heat took a 3-1 series lead Monday night with a 102-90 win on their home court.

CHICAGO (AP) β€” The Los Angeles-Chicago NHL Western Conference final returns to the Windy City tonight for Game 5. The visiting Kings top the best-of-seven series 3-1 and will advance to the Stanley Cup finals with a win.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) β€” The Thunder have roared back to even up the NBA’s Western Conference final by beating the Spurs last night 105-92. Russell Westbrook led the way with 40 points. The fifth game will take place tomorrow night in San Antonio.

MONTREAL (AP) β€” Montreal kept its season alive last night with a 7-4 win over the Rangers. New York now leads the series 3-2 with Game 6 back in Madison Square Garden tomorrow night.
