Former Poet Laureate of the United States Maya Angelou passed away Wednesday at age 86. But she never really gave up the gig. She spent her life encouraging people to read and write poetry, thanks in part to her prolific work, which evolved as technology did.
Over the past several years, Dr. Angelou has used different forms of media ranging from radio and TV to Twitter. In fact, her last tweet was a profound thought: “Listen to yourself and in that quietude, you might hear the voice of God.” That was from just five days ago.
So if you knew your next tweet would be your last, what would you want it to say?
