Edge on Demand: Farewell, Maya Angelou

This video is no longer available.

Β Former Poet Laureate of the United States Maya Angelou passed away Wednesday at age 86. Β But she never really gave up the gig. Β She spent her life encouraging people to read and write poetry, thanks in part to her prolific work, which evolved as technology did. Β

Over the past several years, Dr. Angelou has used different forms of media ranging from radio and TV to Twitter. Β In fact, her last tweet was a profound thought: Β “Listen to yourself and in that quietude, you might hear the voice of God.” Β That was from just five days ago.

So if you knew your next tweet would be your last, what would you want it to say?
