Charlotte, NC–CMPD Animal Care and Control and the Humane Society of Charlotte are hosting their first MEGA-adoption event on Saturday and Sunday, May 31 and June 1.
The event will take place at Animal Care and Control’s shelter located at 8315 Byrum Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217.
Their goal is to find loving and permanent homes for 100 animals over the two-day adoption event.
All adopted cats and dogs will go home vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered – an already incredible value.
For this event, there will be a special baseball themed challenge for each adopter to participate in that will determine their additional discount … up to 50% Grand Slam discount!
Visitors to the shelter will also enjoy food trucks, activities for the entire family, radio remotes, pet-related vendors, live music, a special visit from Charlotte Knight’s mascot Homer and most importantly, wonderful animals hoping to find their forever homes.
CMPD Animal Care & Control will be open extended hours – 9am-9pm; the Humane Society of Charlotte will be open their normal hours of 11am-5pm.
