CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Runners from all over are ready to pound the pavement to stomp out pediatric cancer.
Pediatrict Oncologist Dr. Oesterheld says the Keep Pounding 5K on June 7 dates back to ten years ago when Panthers members were diagnosed with cancer.
He says it’s a great partnership between CMC and the Carolina Panthers.
All proceeds go to early stage clinical trials for pediatric cancer.
Latane Grove says the foundation helps keep the families close to home while they are fighting cancer.
