Man on the Edge: Your Biggest Teenage Regret?

 A free pass for being young and dumb!  From romps in the back seat with near strangers, to wild and crazy parties and hideous tattoos you’re scared to tell your kids about, everybody has a high school horror story.

The government knows that sometimes we don’t make the best  decisions when we’re young and think we’re invincible.  Just think about the tough rules on booze and cigarettes.  And now you can add teen tanning to the list.  

The FDA is requiring new warning labels on tanning beds, stressing that the machines should not be used by anyone under the age of 18.  It’s the government’s way to try to curb melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.   The CDC says people who tan before the age of 35 have a 59 percent higher risk of contracting it.

Many of those patients are diagnosed later in life and say they didn’t realize the damage they were doing when they were young.  That got us wondering about what other things we did as teens that we regret as adults.
