KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – The Kannapolis Police Department are investigating an accident that happened just before noon on Saturday.
The Kannapolis Fire Department responded to an accident involving a person entrapped between two vehicles, but upgraded the call to a rescue assignment upon arrival after finding multiple people injured.
The person entrapped was freed and was airlifted to a nearby medical facility.
A second patient, who suffered an impaled object in the leg, was freed and transported by Cabarrus County EMS.
