Β SAN DIEGO, CA —Β A Charlotte woman is proving age is just a number. Β Ninety-one-year-old Harriette Thompson ran her way into the record books on Sunday. Β
She completed the Rock and Roll San Diego marathon in just over seven hours. Β It’s the fastest time ever for a woman older than 90. Β
Thompson is a cancer survivor. Β She started running marathons at age 76 to raise money for cancer research.
