CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Former Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannon tripped and fell on his way into the federal courthouse in Charlotte Tuesday morning. Β
Over 30 journalist swarmed Cannon as he exited a vehicle at the front of the courthouse. Β
He then pled guilty to one count of honest services wire fraud. Β He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Β
