CHICAGO, I.L. — The Chicago Bears signed former Panthers’ receiver Armanti Edwards Tuesday.
Edwards was signed after another former Panthers’ player, Demenik Hixon, tore his ACL last week while practicing.
This is the third pro football team Edwards has been signed to since entering the league in 2010. He was the Panthers’ third-round draft pick but was cut by the team in 2013.
