CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating a homicide in south Charlotte. According to detectives, around 5:05 p.m., they were called to the 800 block of Farmhurst Drive in regards to an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived on scene, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities say the male victim died at the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released at this time. We have a crew at the scene and will bring you the latest details as they become available.
