LILESVILLE, N.C. –Β The Anson County Sheriff’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigation, along with cadaver dogs, may have hit on something of interest during their search today of 30 acres in Lilesville, Anson Co.

Right now, crews are preparing to dig into the ground. The property belongs to the family of a former Wadesboro funeral home owner. Today’s search was launched after investigators found two decomposing bodies inside Mary McLendon’s former business in on Wednesday. Β
