CHARLOTTE, NC– Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery on E. Independence Boulevard.
Authorities say an unknown armed male entered Sun Trust Bank located on E. Independence Boulevard around 10 a.m. Friday morning.
The suspect reportedly approached a bank employee and demanded money, after receiving the cash he fled the scene on foot.
Witnesses have described the suspect as a black male approximately 6′ with a thin build, he was last seen wearing a long sleeve plaid shirt, white working gloves and a hospital mask.
