CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Christian Pena, 18, was arrested Sunday evening in relation to the man who was shot and killed on Old Pineville Road just before 11 p.m. Friday.
Pena was charged with Accessory after the fact of a felony. Pena was taken to police headquarters where he was interviewed by Homicide/ADW Unit Detectives.
Β Police still need your help in identifying the victim.
The man is described as being between HIspanic, between 16 and 20 years old and thin with short hair. He was wearing a black tank top, red basketball shorts, black and white sneakers and was riding a black bicycle.
Officers responded to an assault with deadly weapon call and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to CMC by medic and pronounced dead.
