GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Arielle Reid, 18, died after being in a car crash on Lowland Dairy Road near Mount Holy Sunday night.Β
Arielle’s dad, Michael Reid, was driving the car while Arielle was in the front seat and her 6-year-old brother was in the back seat.Β
The father and son were not injured.
Arielle was a senior at Highland School of Technology and had plans to graduate Saturday, June 14. She also was planning to go to college at N.C. State.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.Β
