GASTONIA, N.C. — Police say a Clover woman is wanted for stealing a staff member’s purse from an elementary school in Gastonia. Β
Investigators have signed warrants against Crystal Anderson. Β She is accused of taking the purse from W.A. Bess Elementary School on June 9th. Β
Police say surveillance video shows Anderson enter the school without a purse but then exiting a short time later with a purse that matched the description of the missing one. Β Anderson is then accused of reentering the school and turning the purse in to the office. Β
