Β CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A house fire showing heavy smoke and flames broke out around 7 a.m. Sunday on the 3300 block of Fincher Boulevard.Β
Neighbors tell the Charlotte Fire Department that the house has been vacant for five to seven years. There was also no power at the residence according to Duke Power.
It took 30 firefighters 17 minutes to contain the fire. CFD says the fire appeared to be “substantial.”Β
No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.Β
