
Β LENOIR, N.C. — Richard Farrant, 52, was arrested Friday after a warrant for obtaining property by false pretense.
Farrant posed as an Energy Audit Specialist with My Home LLC and Home Energy Services LLC to multiple people.
He would make a sale to people by offering windows, insulation and other products without delivering or installing anything.
Farrant requested partial payment up front and would not follow through, according to victims.
Farrant was placed under a $15,000 secured bond.Β
