Β Morganton, N.C. — Some city of Morganton electric consumers will temporarily lose power at 1 a.m. Sunday while the company does repairs.
The City Electric Department will be replacing damaged equipment at an electrical substation on Rand Street, behind Case Farms.Β
Workers will disable the station with Duke Energy and cut off power. The work is expected to take several hours with power service restored.
