CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police need your help locating a man who is accused of shooting at officers in west Charlotte. Β
Early Monday morning police responded to an armed person call on West Trade Street. Β Cops approached a man who matched the description from the 911 call. Β
The suspect, Devaron Wilburn, is accused of shooting at police while he ran from the scene. Β An officer returned fire but no one was injured in the shooting. Β
Police identified Wilburn as a suspect and he currently has outstanding warrants for his arrest. Β He is considered armed and dangerous. Β Anyone with information about Wilburn’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
