CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police need your help locating a man who is accused of shooting at officers in west Charlotte.
Early Monday morning police responded to an armed person call on West Trade Street. Cops approached a man who matched the description from the 911 call.
The suspect, Devaron Wilburn, is accused of shooting at police while he ran from the scene. An officer returned fire but no one was injured in the shooting.
Police identified Wilburn as a suspect and he currently has outstanding warrants for his arrest. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about Wilburn’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
