CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials have released surveillance footage from the Kenan Gay trial. Β Gay was found not guilty in the death of Robert Kingston. Β
Gay confronted Kingston inside Ed’s Tavern on Park Road after Kingston allegedly tried to kiss Gay’s girlfriend. Β Gay is accused of pushing Kingston out the door. Β Kingston was then hit and killed by a vehicle. Β
Gay was acquitted on all charges in the case. Β The surveillance footage was used in court as evidence in the trial. Β
