ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — Police arrested a woman for causing a high speed chase through two counties with three children in the car. Β
Kavett Saddler, 37, refused to pull over for police after she was clocked speeding on Highway 74 in Union County. Β
Saddler didn’t stop until she ran over stop sticks near a Walmart in Wadesboro, approximately 23 miles from when the officer initiated the traffic stop. Β
The three children in the car, a seven-week-old, a three-year-old and a nine-year-old, were all turned over to DSS. Β
Saddler has been charged with child abuse, speeding to elude arrest and multiple traffic charges. Β No one was injured in the chase.Β
