MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Police say a 2-year-old child drowned in a family pool in Mooresville. Officers were called to a home in Gabriel Estates shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday evening.
CPR was being administered on the child when emergency crews arrived on the scene. The child was taken to a local hospital but died a short time later. Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
